morning view

early dawn
mild mild winter morning
slight frost makes you think of snow
and wish for rain on the dry thirsty grassland

mist rising from pond's glassy silver surface
like dancers whirling and flying away

pickup in the field feeding the cows
even it seems beautiful in the light
sun re-rises from behind cloud not high
the day, the dawn, the world begins again.

Later a little further down the road.
I saw two cows. One with it's head and neck stretched up high
the other one scratching --oh just right there.
I laughed out-loud.
"over just a little ahhhhh that's it you got it"
