Found

Grace and Peace
Late last night I was in touch with a wonderful woman I met a couple of years ago in India, Lily. We happened to be online at the same time and it was good to chat with her and get a little sense of how she is doing.
We all want to be found I think. Remember the childhood game Hide and Seek. There was that moment as a child, if you had found a particularly good hide place, that you wanted to be found. And then the words...Ally Ally in free. You could come in and show everyone where you had been hidden.
We want to be found and we are found. We are found by the One who created us. We are found by the One who walks with us and picks us up. We are found by the One who brings us home.
As faithful people we are given a full measure of comfort, and hope and peace in our hearts that even when we think we have 'hidden' we are not hidden from the love of the One we just awake to it's presence in our lives.
And as questioning people, or fallen people, or imperfect people, we hear Ally Ally in free in the words of God's good Grace given to us when we turn into it and accept it for our lives.
Found, never lost.
