Celebrating
We are in Tulsa tonight with our daughter Martha Elizabeth who is now 24 years old. I told her again the story of her birth and how that day changed our lives. Our son's coming to us did the same two years before. We are richly blessed.
As we sat at dinner we thought too of the people in the line of the storm, katrina, the hurricane that comes toward the coast of the US and we pray for all to be healthy and well and for the energy of the storm to weaken. But we know that surely the winds have already begun to blow. We were driving through that very area about two weeks ago. We pray for all.
And all the people in the path of chaos we pray they will be well too blanked with peace. Shalom. That peace wish includes you and your life as well.
