growing moon

tonight the moon is larger
than it was before
we wait now for it's fullness
to come

tonight it seems much closer
the blue skies frame it's light
and stars are brighter brighter
we wait the full moon's light

tonight we see our breath too
we count the temperatures winter sign
and so we see the day pass
we wait... come full moon come

and it will come
in it's good time
growing like the hope in our heart
that comes when we wait
come full moon come!
