Cardinal

O watch for them. I was driving home this morning there was a winter blue/grayness to the sky and yet the sun was shinning. The brown grass, the clouds, everything was indicating winter...but there on the wire....see...a beautiful cardinal. It was perched there and even though I couldn't hear it I could see that it was singing. It was beautiful.
Somehow that beautiful cardinal sang in the winter day.
