Tracking

I am amazed now that when you order something and have it shipped that you can get a number and go to a website and the number will tell you where your package is and when it should arrive.
That is amazing to me. Ok, so I am simply amused. But you know when it was sent, it was scanned it... and then ... Hello will you sign please? And you make some odd scrawlings on an electronic screen, and they hand you the box and they are off.

Ah life. Wait wait you say, life isn't like that. We aren't born with a 'bar code' etched on our hands and go through the various places we go with some great cosmic coincidence coordinator checking our progress. Which means we have the ability to move as swiftly or as slowly along the path that is laid out for us. And we have choices. And we make mistakes AND hopefully we learn! An on we go.

I think we know when we are headed in the right direction when opportunities for good for us and others ---continue to present themselves. Not just "more for me" kind of good but a good that makes the world smile.

When we surrender, if you will, to the mercy and grace that is presented us. We do know--deep in your heart what that feels like--- When we rest in the heart of God, when God rests in our heart. We are on the right track. How far along? Don't know. But we don't really need to know that--- do we...
