Honesty/honestly

Two psychiatrists and a faithful woman write about honesty. Their perspectives are amazingly close. Jung and Freud write from looking at a human from the outside in...trying to get into that deepest level of the psyche. Mother teresa on the other hand writes from the inside out. Looking at the soul of a person as it illumins the world around them she saw great beauty and pulled out of others that God given beauty that resides within each of them.
Jung and Freud's words challenge us to be sure. But Mother Teresa's stop us from pretending that we really can hide. She was a most congruent person, what you saw in her was who she was. Vulnerable and powerful beyond measure at the same time.
I say it often. Jesus knows us and loves us still. So why not be vulnerable...And free?

People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own soul.
Carl Jung

Being entirely honest with oneself is a good exercise.
Sigmund Freud

Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable.
Be honest and transparent anyway.
Mother Teresa
