rain

Tuesday afternoon.

It is balloon week in ABQ and we have afternoon rain today. The balloons were up this morning and I watched them as I had coffee with a friend looking out over PaseoDeNorte. It was fun. They are amazing the colors and shapes varied. It looks like fun but fun for someone who isn't challenged by height. I can appreciate them from afar and enjoy them.

I had a nice visit with a woman who sat with me when the tables all filled up. We had a nice conversation.

WE have missed the rain here. It is hopeful that the mornings will be nice enough for the rest of the week for the Fest. So many folks come for it. I hear that it is THE most photographed event anywhere. What fun. Some friends are coming for the weekend and it is supposed to be pretty again then.

The scripture for this coming week is about Moses going to the mountain and the people making the golden calf. Ah what fun that will be. The 23 psalm is also read, and the Matthew story of the people invited to the wedding and some not being prepared.

I haven't written here as I often check in at Facebook, bobbiemcgarey. But I shall try to be better about reflecting here.
